Revit - Making Temporary Dimensions Larger

January 05, 2022 By Garry Stockton

Have you ever found the Temporary Dimension too small in Revit? If you have installed Revit, the standard font is set at 8. Sometimes this is not ideal depending on your screen or graphics resolution.

To ease grappling with the standard size temporary text dimensions, preferential adjustments can be made to the font dimensions.

  1. Select the Revit logo on the top left of your interface.

  2. Options at the bottom of the palette, third down on the list is Graphics.

  3. Once in the Graphics dialogue box, adjust Temporary Dimension Text Appearance to preferred size (see highlighted).
