Revit 2022 - Curtain Walls – Adjust for Mullion Size

February 14, 2022 By John Flanagan

Adjust for Mullion Size

Adjusts the position of type-driven gridlines to ensure that curtain panels are of equal size, whenever possible. Sometimes when mullions are placed, particularly on borders of curtain hosts, it can result in panels of unequal size, even if the Layout is set to Fixed Distance.

In the example shown, the bottom dimension string shows the panel widths. The start and end panels are not the same width as the interior panels. To make sure that the panels are equal, we can use the Adjust for Mullion Size in the Type Properties dialogue box. Select the Curtain Wall and tick the check box for Adjust for Mullion Size. The panels are now equal in width.

The bottom dimension string shows that the panel widths from left to right are all the same size.
